Welcome to the Friends of the trails in New Garden Township. As part of the adopted Township's Greenways and Trail Plan a group of over 150 volunteers, known as "Friends of the New Garden Trails", recently completed the Laurel Woods Trail and plan to open the Mill Race Trail on October 22nd, 2011. Use this website to explore the ongoing building of public trails throughout New Garden Township.






Mission Statement
Friends of the New Garden Trails is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the creation, preservation and protection of public trails in New Garden Township. We volunteer our time and talents to develop, improve and maintain trails and to conduct relevant educational programs.

Friends of the Trails participated in White Clay's 3rd Annual Creek Fest on May 7th and New Garden Day on May 15th. The group set up a tent at both events and volunteers showed maps and photographs of the trails.
